I am about 10-years-old and even I know my chances were slim in making it out of there. My foster mom said that she saw my picture on the shelters website and I was just too qute to leave in there.
My previous family fed me anything and everything. That is how I ended up being overweight. That and the fact that my thyroid levels were off. I had never even heard the word thyroid but boy you should see the weight that I have dropped. You can even see my cute little waistline now! I do still have a few pounds to go but I am eating green beans with my kibble like crazy. I do take some thyroid medicine and will always need to but I heard that it is fairly inexpensive.
