Buffs out any damage that is deemed repairable by the standards set forth by the Association of American Railroads (AAR). Verifies the dimensions and the acceptability of repaired inner races for conformance to specifications of the company, customer and AAR. Maintains accurate counts of the various types of repairs made to the inner race and of any types of defect that were determined to be outside of the repairable guidelines set by AAR standards. Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or company management.
