Shift Type Category Construction Refrigeration Career Level Location Knoxville, TN xxxx9 US Education Functional Job Title Refrigeration Construction Foreman Job Type Full Time Travel Required 0 Job Requirements Requirements: * Knowledge of commercial multiplex refrigeration systems, computer controlled systems and installation procedures * Knowledge of plumbing and pipe fitting * Knowledge of blue-prints, detailing refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and/or fixtures * Ability to pipe refrigeration equipment * Ability to pump down both single and multiplex refrigeration systems * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Good mechanical skills in the use of hand and power tools * High school/GED and/or trade or technical classes * Minimum****7-10 years journeyman level experience in the construction industry**** * Hands on field experience in either refrigeration, electrical, plumbing or fixtures construction******** * Experience in installation in supermarkets preferred******** * Refrigeration Construction Foreman must be TYPE II E.P.A. certified. Job Summary:****This position is responsible to lead, manage, train and mentor the Refrigeration, Electrician, or Fixtures construction project crew, prioritize****and delegate responsibilities, and interact with the general contractor or customer to ensure the Refrigeration, Electrician or Fixtures construction jobs are completed efficiently, accurately and on-time. Promotes and fosters teamwork within the Refrigeration, Electrician, or Fixtures construction project crew, monitoring the project as it proceeds, directing and leading the crew toward optimal project productivity, and workplace safety; and, appraising individual and group performance to establish a highly competent crew. Provides support on the Refrigeration, Electrician, or Fixtures construction job by reading and interpreting refrigeration, electrical and/or plumbing blueprints, and laying out the project to ensure the crew understands their work assignment.
